In the world of intelligence, in search of truth, it is difficult to distinguish reality from its reflection, illusion if you will, as if we were in the “Hall of Mirrors”. Appeared in Graham Norton and guests: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). I don’t understand all the negative reviews, yes, the pacing is not Bourne-level, but it is suspenseful, fantastically acted and compelling.
Fassbender is excellent again and, unlike most spy dramas, it is quite believable
I’ve never seen the French original before, so forgive me if I don’t make a comparison, but it would be a shame if any negative comparisons detracted from the enjoyment of the viewing experience. Perhaps the concerns about pacing are due to binge-watching culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch multiple episodes at once, but I honestly don’t see any problem with that. Please don’t let any negativity deter you from watching it, it’s definitely worth your time.
