The filmmakers used what they already had on hand

After being resurrected by a sinister creature, Art the Clown returns to the shy town of Miles County, where he attacks a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The “Terrifier” haunted house scenes were filmed in a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he has in a clear glass bottle. It is a super acid that can dissolve even glass.
Art the Clown:
There is a scene in the checkout credits at a mental hospital with Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases of Tiberius Films were cut by approximately three minutes to ensure the “Not Under 18” rating (this was necessary as the guidelines for video releases are stricter than for theatrical releases). For the most part, every violent scene is doctored to tone down the violence. Nameless Media 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are completely uncensored and have received a light SPIO/JK seal of approval.

The Equalizer (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle (as Jamison Tyler Lyle) Performed by The Midnight Courtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI). The movie is about 45 minutes too long, as others have noted. It is obvious that the director got carried away.
Less is always more!
Some plot points don’t match the original movie at all. Sometimes when directors get their hands on a bigger budget, they feel they need to expand the plot and duration. The plot elements add confusion to a simple plot that, had it been limited to roughly 90 minutes, would have had more impact. The carnage wasn’t as bad as the internet hype made it out to be.
None of these massacres were new
This has already happened in many other films. I think the creator of “Terrifier 2” unnecessarily inserted additional thematic threads into the sequel. In the end, they border on fantasy or science fiction. My advice to a creator or director is, “Keep it short and sweet.”
