To be fair, she was excellent in her acting. I just wasn’t sold on the singing parts. The film was, however, an excellent final chapter to the much less dignified life of Maria Callas.
However, it touches on many of the delicate moments that defined her career
She was a wonderful soul, cherished and suffered in equal measure for her talent. It covers the last 7 days of her life and uses flashbacks to explore her journey. It is so absorbing that you can no longer distinguish between her illusions and her real memories.
