The town was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Tale
Solve the mystery of a town in the middle of the United States that locks in all who enter. As the townspeople struggle to maintain their sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site known as Beaver Bank Cottage has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, general store, etc.
When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The cobblestone streets and alleys were all that remained and the fake town was built on top of them. A rope is thrown to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists are chained.

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. While there are still too many unanswered questions and season 2 wasn’t as good as the first season, it’s still worth watching. Overall, From is only as good as the hype surrounding it.
It was definitely better than anything I expected
While there is some horror and gore, this show is much more than just a horror show. I know a lot of critics have compared it to Lost, and while it’s not as good as that show, I can see where they’re going with this. It’s a very smart show with a lot of unknowns and mysteries.
I just started the second season and while it’s not as good, it continues to entertain
Every answer we get leads to more questions, and I fear there are more questions than answers, but it’s been a fun show to watch so far.
