Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing for the team’s Fan of the Year award, judged by Derrick, the director of fan engagement. The movie was filmed on historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round. The locations that served as the Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ Restaurant are also real-life family-owned stores.

The square also puts up Christmas lights like in the movie.. sorry, but where the hell was Christmas??? I thought this movie was terrible!!
Hallmark really made us all wait for this – what a huge jerk!
I know a lot of people are rolling their eyes reading this review, but that’s just my opinion. I think the actors did a good job with what they had to work with, but what really got me was very early on when the main characters are sitting around the fire and at one point they stand up and suddenly hold hands… No, that doesn’t happen, there was very little build up to create the hand at that point.
The CGI or whatever it’s called was so clearly fake
The fact that the lead actor believed so much in a hat was absolutely absurd, he was willing to throw away his potential life partner at the drop of a hat. Really? As another reviewer pointed out, it was indeed a mistake and a super good flick!
Sorry Hallmark, you missed your mark on this one
I gave the acting a 6, some parts were okay, especially with the grandfather, I thought he was cute.
