In the 1950s, rookie BPRD agent Bobby Joe Song is tasked with delivering a spider to the BPRD, but is forced to turn to Hellboy for help when things go awry. Together they go to Appalachia to fight the Warped Man, who was sent back to Earth to collect souls for the devil.
