Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made the rarest of friends – a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind and head to the unknown of New York City, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her lifelong friend. At 14, accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides she must return to the Amazon to retrieve her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s lovable but clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
